One Year of Teetao Β· Still Brewing πŸƒ

March 28 2025 marks one year since Teetao first opened its doors.

When we think back to the beginning, the memories are still very vivid. In those early days, there were only a few guests each day. The space was quiet, the movements a little uncertain, and every cup of tea felt like a small test of whether we were doing things right. We spent time observing, adjusting, and learning β€” how long to brew, how to explain a tea’s story, how to create a place where people felt comfortable staying a little longer.

Slowly, something began to change. Familiar faces returned. Conversations grew longer. New friends arrived, often guided by a recommendation or simple curiosity. Tea became the bridge β€” between strangers, between cultures, between moments of busy city life and a pause of calm.

Over the year, there were many kinds of moments. Some were quiet and personal: a guest discovering a tea they never expected to like, someone sitting alone with a book, the steady rhythm of preparing tea day after day. Others were more surprising: being noticed by media, participating in events, and realizing that Teetao had become part of a larger tea community. Each moment, big or small, shaped who we are today.

Most of all, this year has been about gratitude. Gratitude for trust β€” in our teas, in our way of brewing, and in the atmosphere we try to protect. Gratitude for patience, encouragement, and honest conversations. Running a tea house is not only about tea leaves and water; it is about people, timing, and shared presence.

One year has passed faster than we expected. Teetao is still learning, still refining, still brewing. As we step into our second year, we carry everything this first year has taught us, and we look forward to many more cups shared together.

Thank you for being part of our first year.
