  • Oolong tea (Wu Long Cha, 烏龍茶) is a semi-oxidized tea that bridges the freshness of green tea and the depth of black tea. It is known for its complexity, layered fragrance, and smooth texture. Depending on oxidation and roast levels, oolong can range from floral and light to dark and roasted.

  • Dong Ding (凍頂) means “Frozen Summit”, named after the Dong Ding Mountain in Lugu, Nantou where the tea was first planted over a century ago. The cool mountain air, mist, and traditional charcoal roasting give this tea its signature toasty aroma and warm, sweet flavor, making it one of Taiwan’s most famous and enduring teas.

  • Dong Ding Oolong undergoes medium oxidation and medium roasting, creating a perfect balance between floral brightness and roasted depth. The roasting process enhances its fruity, caramel, and woody tones, resulting in a comforting cup that is both rich and smooth. It is one of the most representative styles of traditional Taiwanese oolong.

  • Golden-amber liquor; rich and mellow body; flavors of baked fruit, caramelized nuts, and soft wood; long, toasty, sweet finish.
