Yellow tea (Huang Cha, 黄茶) is one of China’s six traditional tea categories. It is made through the menhuang (闷黄) process, where slightly oxidized leaves are gently steamed and wrapped to promote mild fermentation. This gives yellow tea its signature golden color, smooth texture, and sweet, mellow taste distinct from green tea.
-
The name Sunon honors Shennong (神农), the legendary “Divine Farmer” who first discovered tea. The tea reflects his legacy of natural balance, purity, and the harmony between humans and the earth.

Produced in Fujian, the region famous for China’s finest white teas, this yellow tea combines Fujian’s gentle sweetness with the rich depth of the yellowing process. It offers a pure, elegant, and comforting flavor with natural honey and floral notes.
