Withdraw from an order or request a return

Open your customer account, sign in using the code sent to your email, select your order and the items to cancel or return, and confirm your request. You will receive an email acknowledgement. You may also send a freely worded withdrawal notice to info@teetao.fi.

Withdrawal and returns

For consumer purchases online, you normally have 14 days from receiving the goods, or the last item of an order delivered separately, to notify us of withdrawal without giving a reason. You may also withdraw before delivery. Mandatory statutory rights always apply.

Send a clear notice to info@teetao.fi with your name, order number or other order details, the goods concerned and contact information. Prior approval is not a condition for exercising your statutory right. Leaving a parcel uncollected is not a withdrawal notice.

Return goods within 14 days after your notice to Teetao / ElevateMarket Partners Oy, Uudenmaankatu 19–21, LH8, 00120 Helsinki, Finland. You pay the direct return shipping cost for non-defective goods. Pack goods securely. You may inspect goods as in a shop; you may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Sealed food and other exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed food or other sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once their protective seal has been opened after delivery. Opening the outer shipping carton alone does not remove the right. This exception applies only where its legal conditions are met.

Other statutory exceptions may include rapidly perishable goods and genuinely personalised goods. Tea, matcha, gift cards and discounted or promotional goods are not automatically excluded solely because of their category or discount. Promotional goods have the same statutory rights as full-price goods.

Specific-date catering and leisure bookings may be excluded from the statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Applicable cancellation terms are disclosed before booking. An undated experience voucher is not automatically treated as a specific-date booking. Statutory remedies if we cancel or fail to provide the agreed service remain unaffected.

Refunds

We refund payments without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. Unless we offered to collect the goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive them or evidence of their return, whichever occurs first. For withdrawal from the whole order, we also refund the least expensive standard outward delivery charge we offered, but not extra costs of an upgraded delivery method. We use the original payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed, without a refund fee.

Defective, incorrect or damaged goods

Contact info@teetao.fi as soon as reasonably possible. Your statutory remedies for defective, incorrect or delivery-damaged goods are unaffected by opening the packaging, the withdrawal period or the exceptions above. We cover reasonable return costs where required by law. No 48-hour notification deadline removes statutory rights.
