1. Seller and scope

These terms apply to purchases made from the Teetao online store. The seller is ElevateMarket Partners Oy (Business ID 3386963-4, VAT number FI33869634), trading as Teetao, Uudenmaankatu 19-21, LH8, 00120 Helsinki, Finland. You can contact us at info@teetao.fi or +358 41 310 5833.

These terms do not limit any rights that consumers have under mandatory Finnish or EU consumer protection law.

2. Products and prices

We aim to describe and display our products accurately. Minor differences in colour or appearance may result from screen settings. Product availability may change.

Prices shown to consumers include applicable value added tax. Delivery charges and any other applicable charges are shown before the order is placed.

3. Ordering and formation of the contract

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the products in your cart. After receiving the order, we send an order confirmation to the email address you provided. The sales contract is formed when we accept the order by sending the order confirmation.

If a product is unavailable or there is an obvious and material error in the product information or price, we will contact you without undue delay. If we cannot fulfil an order, any payment received for the affected product will be refunded.

4. Payment

Available payment methods and any related costs are displayed during checkout. Payments are processed securely by the payment service providers shown at checkout and are subject to their applicable terms.

5. Delivery

We deliver to Finland and Estonia. Available delivery methods, prices and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and described in our Shipping Policy.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days of the order. Estimated delivery times are not guarantees, but we are responsible for arranging delivery. The risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods. If the consumer independently commissions a carrier that we did not offer, risk passes when the goods are handed to that carrier.

6. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds

Consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance-sales contract within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to exceptions provided by law. Instructions, applicable exceptions, return costs and the model withdrawal procedure are described in our Refund Policy.

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply, for example, to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken. An exception is applied only when its legal requirements are met.

7. Defective or incorrect products

We are responsible for defects and lack of conformity in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. If a product is defective, damaged in delivery or does not correspond to the order, please contact us at info@teetao.fi as soon as reasonably possible and include the order number and a description of the problem. Statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract, as applicable.

8. Order cancellation by the seller

We may cancel an order only for a justified reason, such as unavailability, suspected payment fraud, an obvious and material pricing error, or a legal restriction on sale. We will inform you without undue delay and refund any payment received for the cancelled part of the order.

9. Use of the website and intellectual property

The website may be used for lawful personal shopping and information purposes. Content created by Teetao, including its brand materials, text and original images, is protected by applicable intellectual property law. This does not restrict rights granted by mandatory law.

10. Liability and force majeure

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including statutory liability for defective goods. We are not liable for an unforeseeable failure or delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, but this does not affect the consumer's mandatory rights relating to delay, non-delivery, refund or termination.

11. Personal data and third-party services

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Our online store uses third-party technical, payment and delivery service providers where necessary to operate the store and fulfil orders. Links to third-party websites are governed by the terms and privacy notices of those third parties.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future orders when reasonably necessary, for example because of changes in law or our services. The terms in force when an order is placed apply to that order unless a change is required by mandatory law or is expressly agreed with the customer.

13. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms and purchases from the store are governed by Finnish law. This choice of law does not deprive a consumer residing in another country of mandatory protection that applies under the law of their country of residence.

If a dispute cannot be resolved with us, a consumer may contact Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. Information is available at kkv.fi and kuluttajariita.fi. Consumers may also bring proceedings before a competent court as provided by applicable law.
