Bi Luo Chun (2025 Spring Harvest)
Bi Luo Chun (2025 Spring Harvest)
Bi Luo Chun, also known as Green Snail Spring, is one of China’s top ten famous teas and is especially prized for its delicate buds and intense fragrance. Picked in early spring, the young leaves are tender, covered with fine white hairs, and carefully hand-rolled into tight spirals.
When brewed, the leaves unfurl gracefully, releasing a bright, clear liquor with a lively floral and fruity aroma. The taste is fresh, smooth, and brisk, with natural sweetness and a lingering, elegant aftertaste.
*All ingredients of this tea are 100% organically grown.
Recommended Gongfu Brewing Method
Recommended Teaware: Use a tall glass or a gaiwan to appreciate the tender, down-covered buds as they dance in the water. Yixing clay teapots are not recommended, as their porous nature may soften this tea’s bright, fresh character.
Water temperature: 70–80 °C.
Brewing: Use 1 g per 50 ml of water (about 3 g for a 150 ml gaiwan). Steep the first infusion for about 50 seconds, then increase by 5–10 seconds each round. Brew at least 5 times.
